IAEA Opens Applications For The 2024 Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowship Programme

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) officially launched the new Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowship Programme (MSCFP).

Since its launch in 2020, the MSCFP has awarded 560 women from over 120 Member States studying in 70 countries across the world.

The deadline for applications is 30 September 2024.

Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowship Programme Launches

The MSCFP aims to help increase the number of women in the nuclear field, supporting an inclusive workforce of both men and women who contribute to and drive global scientific and technological innovation.

Named after pioneer physicist and twice Nobel Prize laureate Marie Sklodowska-Curie, the Programme aims to inspire and encourage young women to pursue a career in the nuclear field.

Selected students receive a scholarship for Master’s programmes in nuclear related studies at accredited universities. They are also provided with an opportunity to pursue an internship facilitated by the IAEA for up to 12 months.
