ENS and World Nuclear Association Sign MoU to Boost Cooperation

The European Nuclear Society (ENS) and the World Nuclear Association (WNA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support the cooperation in several areas, like research, advocacy, education and training, and knowledge management in the field of nuclear science and technology.

The MoU has been signed in late December by the former ENS President Prof. Emilio Minguez and by the WNA Director-General Dr. Sama Bilbao y Leon.

ENS and WNA will so collaborate in several frameworks, to support the respective members and to share achievements, experiences and good practices.

Concerning E&T and knowledge management, ENS and WNA aim at supporting the development of the next generation of nuclear professionals. So, ENS-YGN and World Nuclear Association University will be mutually involved to foster opportunities for nuclear young professionals and students, to enhance the attractiveness of the nuclear sector, and to facilitate the dissemination of information, news and activities.

We are glad to seal our cooperation with such a well-known, globally-oriented nuclear organisation like WNA!
