Bertin Technologies Expands By Acquiring VF Nuclear

Bertin Technologies (ENS Corporate Member) announced the acquisition of Czech company VF Nuclear, a manufacturer of radiation protection and monitoring systems.

Founded in 1992 and based in Cerna Hora near Brno, VF Nuclear is a company at the cutting edge of technology and services in the field of radiation protection and radiological measurement. 

The company designs, develops, produces, installs and maintains high-performance, highly reliable radiation monitoring systems, capable of withstanding harsh operating conditions.

Bertin Technologies considers VF Nuclear’s product portfolio to be highly complementary to its own, also benefitting with solid experience of the Czech company in continuous monitoring of radiation levels for nuclear power plants in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

With its 208 employees, 1/3 of whom are seconded directly to the Czech and Slovak nuclear power plants – Dukovany and Temelin, Mochovce and Bohunice – VF Nuclear will officially become “Bertin VF Nuclear”, a subsidiary of the group, at the start of 2025.
