ENS Conferences

Conferences, workshops and webinars are a core part of the ENS activities. Our conferences serve as international forums for the disclosure of new scientific developments and technological innovations by leading scientists and engineers from all over the world.

ENS and its Member Societies have a long tradition of organising topical international meetings in Europe covering all key nuclear subjects. Some TOPicals have brand names such as TOPSAFE and TOPFUEL. During the past few years, ENS has been focusing more on the needs of the market, selecting specific topics of current interest to its members, for example, the conference series on research reactor fuel management, RRFM.

    European Research Reactor Conference (RRFM)

    The European Research Reactor Conference (RRFM) is the annual gathering of the international research reactor community. Conference’s topics include research reactor nuclear fuel cycle from front-end to back-end, new research reactor projects, utilisation, operation & maintenance and ageing management, decommissioning, dismantling and waste management.

    TopFuel

    TopFuel is an annual topical meeting organised by ENS, the American Nuclear Society as well as the Atomic Energy Society of Japan, the Chinese Nuclear Society and the Korean Nuclear Society, and in collaboration with the International Atomic Energy Agency. TopFuel’s primary objective is to bring together leading specialists in the field from around the world to analyse advances in nuclear fuel management technology and to use the findings of the latest cutting-edge research to help manufacture and safely operate the high-performance nuclear fuels of today and tomorrow. The conference rotates yearly between Europe, the US and Asia.

    TopSafe

    TopSafe provides a forum for addressing the current status and future perspectives with regards to safety at Nuclear Power Plants (NPPs), Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), Research Reactors (RRs) and other nuclear installations. Main topics are Safety Analysis and Assessment, Safety and Risk Management and Trends in Nuclear Safety.

    NESTet

    NESTet is an important international Forum that brings together nuclear stakeholders including policy and decision makers, educators, training providers, employers and human resource managers. Its goal is to discuss opportunities and challenges in nuclear education, training, knowledge management and human resource development related to nuclear energy and other nuclear applications.

Our webinars are proposed by ENS Members for ENS Members. They represent an opportunity to share industry knowledge and provide an international platform to update on current projects.
