The Ukrainian Nuclear Society (ENS Member Society) kindly invites you to take part in the Annual International Scientific Conference “Prospects for the Introduction of Innovations in Nuclear Energy” scheduled for September 26-27, 2024, in Kyiv at the Great Conference Hall of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
The objective of the Conference is to attract a wide range of specialists and members of the public to a constructive discussion of scientific and technical problems of the functioning and development of the nuclear energy industry in Ukraine and in the world.
Organizers: The Ukrainian Nuclear Society together with the the Institute for Safety Problems of Nuclear Power Plants of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) of Ukraine and the Council of Young Scientists at the Department of Energy and Energy Technologies of the NAS of Ukraine and supported by partners: JSC NNEGC Energoatom, Energy Safety Group, Phoenix Contact Ukraine, Atomkompleksprylad, Impulse, Ukrainian Optical and Photonic Society.
The plenary session on the first day will feature presentations on the current state of nuclear energy and research in Ukraine and globally. A special focus will be the discussion of threats and challenges affecting the reliability and safety of the nuclear industry in war conditions.
The second day will consist of two sectional panels:
- Innovations for the Sustainable Development of the Nuclear Industrial Complex
- Innovations for Sustainable Development and Improving the Safety of Nuclear Power Plants.”
