Dear ENS YGN Core Committee Members,

On the 24th May 2009, the ENS YGN Core Committee will elect its new Chair and Vice-Chair for the June 2009 – June 2011 term during its 2nd meeting in 2009 in Cordoba. Tthe Voting Committee would like to inform you about the open vacancies, and invites you to express your interest in one of these positions.

The conditions for being Chair and Vice-Chair are described as in the ENS-YG Internal Rules (v. 1.5) attached to this e-mail, as well as a task description. Do not hesitate to contact the current ENS YGN Chair (Igor Vuković) or Vice-Chair (Edouard Hourcade) via e-mail (addresses are shown in Cc) in case of any further question related to the function of Chair and Vice-Chair.

If you are interested in one of both positions, you are invited to announce your ambition by e-mail (to the Voting Committee), or you can present yourself directly during the Core Committee meeting. During this meeting, each candidate can dispose of 5 minutes to present him/herself and his/her ambitions related to the ENS YGN. Afterwards there is 5 minutes time for questions from the core committee delegates. The voting will take place according to the rules for Major Decisions (article 20).

We are hoping on a positive response on this announcement, in order to pursue the appreciated efforts from the current chairing team in the development of the ENS YGN.
